Curry Got the Cow.Will Curry had more trouble about cattle this week. He bought a cow of James Chizum in the edge of Clinton county, giving him a check for $35. Monday morning Chizum went back on the trade, throwing the check down on the sidewalk, saying he understood it was for forty dollars, and that Curry could not have the cow.Monday afternoon Curry, accompan-ied.by Mose Brown, drove up to Chizum’s house. They met him before they got there, with a hickory hoe handle in his hands and he told Curry he could not have the cow. Curry guyed him good naturedly and as soon as he saw Muse Brown’s brass buttons and marshal badge he thawed out and told him to come in and get the property. Curry refused and made him drive the cow out into the road after which no furtherdifficulty occurred.
