About a month ago Miss Sexton, a daughter of Oliver Sexton, of Van Buren township, gave birth to an illegitimate child. The child lived but a short while. The grand jury, at the present term, found an indictment against Dr. M. M. McCrea, of Morris-| town, charging him with having pro-| cured an abortion on the girl. He ! was here to-day and was placed un-! der arrest this afternoon.
