Yosemite Park Searched ForMissing Coed From BelvedereI-J Special ReportYOSEMITE — Mary Hoefer, 19-year-old daughter of advertising executive John H. Hoefer of Belvedere, has been reported missing from Yosemite National Park since Saturday.Park rangers combed the valley floor at the park yesterday in the continuing search for Miss Hoefer, a sophomore at the University of California at Berkeley.A summer employee at the park, she had been working as a desk clerk at Yosemite Lodge for the past two weeks.She was last seen near the lodge about 10 p.m. Saturday, said park information officer Larry Quist. Friends said she was talking with a man in his early 20s in the lodge parking lot, Quist reported.‘‘At this time we are just listing her as a missing person and that is about all we know right now,” Quist said.Rangers have searched that Miss Hoefer left the roomplaces where Miss Hoefer was known to hike by herself, but there have been no clues, Quist reported.Kathy T h i e d e , 19, who roomed with Miss Hoefer at the park said that Saturday morning Miss Hoefer mentioned going to see her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John H.
