Borah to an indictment charging him with conspiracy to harbor Karpis and was sentenced to serve two years in the Atlanta federal penitentiary.Karpis and a pretty girl, Ruth Robinson, were taken in the raid, but the girl was released after several days of questioning.Hunter was indicted along with Harry Campbell, another companion of Karpis on charges of having conspired to harbor Karpis m Warren, Ohio, on Jan. 22, 1935, and it was charged that his conspiracy continued until the arrests in New Orleans.Campbell was arrested a few days later in Toledo in the fed-eial agents' roundup of criminal suspects.
