Michael Kavalnnas and'Ptl. James ilecht as part - time officers and Ptl. Robert Ridenour, Ptl, J(An T. Holton Sr., Ptl. Alan LaFouutaln, V t i. Marvin Craig, Pti, Larry Swab and Ptl. Lloyd Ross as members of the police auxiliary;Council also accepted with regret the resignations of former Chief Harry L. Crowe Jr. and Ptl. J. R. Tilton Sr. and Ptl. Joseph R. Murphy. The three resigned, Monday effective, June 1.Murphy was a member of the auxiliary white Crowe w a s stepping down after agreeing to stay on for an additional month to help the new chief.Chief Frederick at a salary of $10,000, has three full-time men headed by Sgt. Ressler who begins at 88,500 for a 44-hour week while Ptl. Dancsok and Ptl. Drake begin at $?,S00 on a 40-hour week. The officers are receiving a $500 pay increase from their temporary status pay.The part-time officers are receiving $2.S0 per hour which is an increase of 50 cents per hour.village $44171 and the money is in the possession of Abney's former attorney, acccrding to Philip Aultman, village solicitor, who is in the process of having the money turned over to the village. Abney was fired from his village position in 1970 and charged with forgery involving alleged misuse of village funds.Councilman ,M. Brewster Strope Jr. presented requests in the form of a motion, that the village museum be painted, insulation installed, front door knob repaired, new basement door screen be Installed, trees trimmed and light fixture repaired.Council agreed to do the repairs including a bid estimate, of -S3S for tree trimming but. held for study the painting and insulation projects.combined at a yearly salary of $3,OOQ. Currently, August (Gusj Peroutka.is village clerk at $2,500 and his wife is village treasurer at annual salary . of $600.The clerk’s position comes up for election in November b u t lUrs.
