released.Four lifers’ ^iven ParoleINDIANAPOLIS (UPI) - A 'man who was once sentenced to death in the electric chair and three other men serving life imprisonment have been paroled from the Indiana State Prison.The Indiana Parole Board’s May report showed the release of Jesse L. Pulido, who was sentenced to death in 1947 for the slaying of his former sweetheart, Marie Garcia, in Gary. The death term later was commuted to life imprisonment.The three lifers and a man serving a manslaughter term were also among 45 prison inmates approved for parole by the board in May.Jacob Lacki, Gary, was au thorized for parole after serving20 years for the double slayings of his neighbors, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Patrick. Lacki and Patrick had argued about the boundary line between their proper ties.Oliver Lee King was approved for parole after serving 18 years for the 1952 slaying of Mathew Wheeler in Gary in a poolroom1 argument j! Also approved for parole was William R. Douglas, sentenced to life from Vigo County in 1948 on a charge of rape.Charles Lamb, sentenced to 2-21 years for mnslaughter in Porter County in 1958, was approved for parole.
