Slaying VictimsTo Be BuriedTogether ThursdayTwo sisters who were felled by rifle bullets in Hines Creek’s business area last Thursday night will be buried side-by-side in Grande Prairie Cemeterytoday.They are Mrs, Anne Ward, 29, killed instantly by a single shot, and her sister*, Mrs. Nancy Turner, 36, who died fromwounds in University Hospital, Edmonton, Saturday.Funeral service for Mrs. Ward will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m.at St, Joseph’s Homan CatholicChurch with Father G. Campbell officiating.- Rev. D. Frame, of St. Paul’s United Church, will officiate at a funeral service at J. B. Oliver Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. the same day for Mrs. Turner, Meanwhile, funeral service was held yesterday for Edwin Cummings, 34, of Grande Prairie and -Fairview, who, police said, shot the two women and then turned the rifle on himself.The funeral was held from St. Helen’s Anglican Church, Fairview. Nixon Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Funeral arrangements for thetwo sisters are being made by J, B. Oliver Funeral Home.4Three shots were fired near the Hines Creek telephone exchange at 8:25 p.m. last Thursday. Mrs. Ward was killed instantly and Mrs. Turner jwas wounded as she fled across the street. She was flown to Edmonton for treatment but died two days later. ' }Cummings then turned the rifle on himself and died instantly.The shootings, witnessed by an RCMP constable who was unable to intervene, were called murder - suicide by police.NO ACTION PLANNEDLONDON (AP)—The British government has decided against taking repressive measures at present against pirate radio ships broad casting commercially from just outside the three • mile limit. Postmaster General Reginald Bevins said the ships would be watched to see that they do not infringe on emergency wave lengths. The BBC has a monopoly on broadcasting in Britain and commercials are banned.
