L C. RhodesLeslie Carlton Rhodes, 71, 426 5th Ave North, Texas City, died Tuesday at his residence.He was a member of the Carpenters Local 973, the BaptistChurch, and had lived in Texas City for the past 17 years.Survivors include his stepmother, Mrs. Helen Rhodes of San Antonio; two daughters, Mrs. Kay Woodley of Houston and Miss Annie Rhodes of Texas City; four stepdaughters, Mrs. C. J. Street of Cleveland, Texas, Mrs. W. L Gray of Houston, Mrs. E. J. Casper and Mrs. C. W. Conner, both of Texas City; four stepsons, A. W. Lilley of Dallas, ArnoldLilley of Orange,. Ear 1 Lilleyand Douglas Lilley, both of Shepherd, Texas; and one brother, Leo Rhodes of San Antonio. ;Funeral services Will be at I 2 p.m. Thursday in Emkin* Linton Chapel, Texas City, the Rev, J. C. Shipman, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating Burial will be in Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock.
