H. Jarman of second degree manslaughter and was given four years in the penitentiary. Barnoski was charged with shooting Rowland Kennedy in the leg last fall near Blackgum, which caused his death later.At the trial it developed that Kennedy had been selling Barnoski illicit whiskey on credit and had been prac-♦ ■ ' tising this, custom for sometime, Barn-1 Qski paying for the same upon receipt-» *of his check, from the Indian Department; but he was behind in paying for some moonshine and the debt was okLandjihis led. up to the shooting..
