A search ofl'ouse revealed twenty-four ca*es oflliquor which Ryan is alleged to havestall* was all there was in his pos-m s-don. The inspectors were not satKiieU however, and inspector Rowebegan a search at the granary. When the lastcase had been taken out of the hidingplace under the granary. It was discovered that forty-one cases had beenhidden there. The total number ofrases found on the* farm was sixty-ud at an average price of $36 perrase, the seizure totals $2,440.Returning to the house after makingthe liquor “find” unoer the granary,the man Ryan wae placed under arrest. nd taken into Deloralne. InsWetoiRowe stales that the liquor had beenshipped from Regina to several smallstations near COhltef so as not tocause any suspicion. He states that itv as intended to smuggle the liquoracross the United Stales border whichis only two mttep distant from the IRyan farm. It is alleged that there isring of men connected with thewholesale smuggling, and at the tM*»t time the police are searching foreo other men who are suspectedof being actively connected with thedisposal of the liquor. Inspector Itowe states that it is his opinion that thefarm had been rented only as a blindfor smuggling activities.There will probably be further de-udopments as the result of the seizure.It is suspected that organized effortsuive been made for some time to shipthe liquor across the border, but thisrecent seizure may check further activities at whiskey smuggling fromanitoba.\
