IT 1MVU *v n%Last Tuesday morning, about two o’clock, the residence of Com ad Crick,on south seventh street was entered by burglars. Their little game at that place was nipped in the bud by Mrs. Crick wakiffg and making a few hostile demonstrations. They then went across the street and entered a wash woman’s house, getting her pocket-book with the day’s washing. They then resorted to the residence of Mr. Frank Wheelan, near by, where their arrival brought forth a volley from Mr. Wheelan's gun, which frightened them away. No word has since been beard of them, and It i9 supposed that they are still running from the bullet which was started after them.
