S L). lt;AP) -Two Artesian men were sentenced on misdemeanor charges Friday in the alleged beating of a man outside the Mitchell Elks Club about three months ago.Judge Marshall Gerken sentenced LaMoine Torgerson to JO days in jail, which was suspended, and a $150 fine. Boyd D. Hopkins Jr. was ordered to pay a $100 line and court costs.Both men pleaded no contest to simple assault in the beating of Richard Good-mansonEarlier, felony charges against both men were dismissed by Judge George Wuest.
