He was arraigned in court and as he appeared before the bar hewas shot and killed by a person whoso name is unknown even to this very day.As a result of the injuries inflicted upon her, which consisted of a blow across the forehead, Mrs. Faust was made totally blind. She died on March 26 last and a will which has since been filed in the I probate court has caused the present contest, in which her brothers and j sister, Edward and Hugo Rhodius, and j Alvina Boettlnger, joined by her hus-i band, Ludwig Boetting^r, are the con-j testants against Harry and Lina M. Branch.A sensational feature of th^will is that one of the witnesses, Thomas J. J Dilwood, an aged negro, repudiates i the will as far as his signature is concerned, saying that he did not know it was a will he had signed.
