Zimmers of whose arrest, on aV Icharge of forgery, mention waa made iu yesterday's issue, was brought before Judge Marsh and cutcred a plea of ] ii guilty-* He was bouud over to the circuit court, bail being fixed at $250, which sum the prisoner was not able to procure and he is still in jaih Thompson was not r ady to enter bis plea, and on motion of the district attorney, was released on his own cognizance to ap- * pear on Thursday and make hia plea. Thompson is a farmer, ©f- Pleasant Valley, and is said .to be in very comfortable .circumstances. It is thought he may not have much difficulty in 'establishing his innocenae of the charge j * on which he waa arrested. A. son of Dell Moon was arrested last night*-on suspicion of complicity with the forgery. He was arraigned this afternoon'and- ; entered*a plea of not guilty.
