Webster County DeputySheriff Badly WoundedH Deputy Sheriff John Lochray of Webster county was seriously injured last Thursday * night, when a charge of shot from a shotgun, at close range, almost tore the deputy's shoulder off.Deputy Locbray, accompanied by other deputies, had gone to Shady Oaks, a small mining town south of Fort Dodge, to make a raid on an alleged bootleggers’ nest.An Italian, Andy Bello, fired the shot and then ran.
