W. Smith. It was Justice Carter s first case. He acquitted himself credibly, and will make a first rate Justice. While the parties were at Farmington the house was broken into, tho goods loaded upon wagons, which sat out for Farmington where Mrs. W. had rented a house. Esqr. Whitson getting word of what was passing had the teams intercepted and turned back. Our advice to the parties is for them to separate as widely as possible.
