wiTe.Jody C. Wesley, 1643 Clawson St., was charged with battery and resisting arrest, Altonpolice said.Police said Wesley’s wife, Kathryn, ran across Clawson Street with their 9-month-old child when officers arrived. Kathryn Wesley told police she had been slapped in the face.Police entered the Wesley home and tried to arrest Jody Wesley, but he pulled and ran away from the officers.Jody Wesley then put his hands around his wife's throat, police said. An officer had to strike Wesley with a nightstick to make him release the hold.Wesley was released on $102 bond, police said.T rocnacc
