May 8:William P. Van De Warker, Streator, was fined $250 and $10 court costs on an amended charge of “Reckless Driving.” The original charge, “Driving while under the influence of liquor,” was made by Wenona Police Chief George E. Crank in Wenona, December 30,1973. A second charge, “Illegal transportation of liquor,” was dismissed.
