Boy in Shooting Is OrderedTo o Supervisory InstitutionA 15-year-old boy, who fired a shotgun through a grocery store window after an attempted rob* bery had failed, Wednesday was ordered committed to a supervisory institution.Homer Smith, judge of children’s coi^rt, said Associated Catholic charities has agreed to place the youth in Boys Town, Neb., or a similar institution.The boy is Kenneth Lee Brooks of 540 SW 47,William R. Saied, assistant county attorney, agreed to the committment, based on a psychiatric report from Dr. MoormanP. Prosser, /v W,The report declared ‘’from a psychiatric point of view, we find that this young man has a low intelligence with the mental ageof:“His personality is that of anwho isnot a leaderexperience in leadership. He is therefore a follower, but like the tail on an unsupervised dog, can be wagged into many undesirable situations.”Brooks was the youngest of five youths arrested last month after Joseph Seymour, grocer atWestern, shot and 16-year-old Richard Cain, 5113 S Walker, outside hisstore. ISISW 79 and woundedCain's companions later returned and fired a shotgun blast at the front of the store.
