The Sixth district alone present any real battle, this being due to the fact that Walter Bossert who is reputed to hold some high position in Klan circles had attempted to use it in control of the district. He was opposed by Steven-Llt;Ishad declared that a tie had existed for son^ former leader in Klan circles, intwenty-four hours and that there wasa vacancy and that it was up to thestate committee to decide the chair-In his decision the chairmanship.iman declared that Rush county had a j right to be represented and that her vote was for Elliott, making the vote j a tie—four to four.the state, who was for Walb.
