Some New Witnesses.Prosecutor Smith continues to add new witnesses daily in his work of building up a case against Ray Lam-phere. Two have been added since yesterday and the end is probably not yer in sight on that score. The two new ones are Emil Green-iiug, who yesterday afternoon was located in Oklahoma City, Okl. He was a former hired man on the Gun-ness place. Mrs. Greening, mother of Ertiil, said last night, “My son told her that one evening in September, 190G, the night before Jennie Olson was supposed to have gone away, two people drove up in a buggy and Mrs. Gunness asked my son to sleep in the barn that night, for the visitors would need the room he occupied. He said that he believed that both of the persons were men, though one was dressed in woman’s clothing. In the morning the couple had left, and Mrs. Gunness told my son that they were the professor and his wife from the school in Los Angeles that Jennie was to attend and that Jennie had gone with them. He never saw Jennie after that.’’Peter Carlson, who worked for Mrs. Gunness, is also a new witness. He will be used against Lamphere before the grand jury. Carlson will testify, it is understood, that Lamphere told him, about the time he was having trouble with Mrs. Gunness.“I made her get down on her knees to ine last night and I am going to make her get down on her knees again to me tonight unless 6he gives me a piece of money. She bought these clothes for me but I want some money.”It has also been announced that Bollin Purcell, bartender at the Roule buffet, will corroborate the story which his employer will tell of Lamphere coming into the saloon and hawking his watch for $2 and boasting of his power over his sweetheart. What People Have Observed.
