KEYSER, WVa. — An Elk Garden man is serving a mandatory 10-year prison sentenceafter pleading guilty to killing his wife.Michael Wayne Myers pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in March in the death of Valerie Kay Myers, 57, the Mineral County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office said this week.Myers shot his wife withMICHAEL MYERS a .45 caliber handgun insidetheir Barnum Road home last year.
