Charner TidwellDies at His HomeCharner M. Tidwell, 87. a retired farmer, died Wednesday, May 5 at his home in the Rocky Mountain Community following a long illness.He was born Aug. 23~ 1883, in Adair County.Survivors include: the daughter, j Charlene Tidwell. Stilwell; two brothers, John Tidwell Jr and Millard Tidwell, Stilwell, and four sisters, Eliza Hummingbird. Sal-lie Johnson, Vennie Hill and Vestie Leatherwood, all of the Stilwell area.Services were held Friday, May 7 in th^ Echota Church with the Rev John Stand, officiating. Interment in the Et-hota Cemetery was under the direction of the Roberts Funeral Home.
