MISS JUDY BOYDNursing StudentsNamed To OfficeHINTON (RNS) — Miss Judy Boyd, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, C. W. Boyd of Talcott and a junior in the Chesapeake and Ohio School of Nursing at Clifton Forge, Va., will serve as a member-at-large for District VI, Student Nurses Association of Virginia and will be a member of the executive board for the year 1967-68.Miss Boyd is a graduate of Talcott High School and ranked fifth in her graduating class. She was a member of the National Beta Club and the Future Homemakers of America. She also served as president of the senior class; served on the yearbook staff; (assisted in the principals office, and was a varsity cheerleader for three years. She is a member of the Trinity Methodist Church of Talcott and the Methodist Youth Fellowship.At the School of Nursing, she is the literary editor for the yearbook; parliamentarian for the student body, and a member of the student council and basketball team. At present, she is receiving three months psychiatric training at Spring Grove State Hospital in Baltimore, Md.Other area students receiving offices were Mrs. Christina McDaniel of Quin wood and Miss Judy Garten of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Hintcn, who is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.
