icrm 01 i nomas superior court, wmcn meets in June.Speaking of the trial of Walter Williams; now confined in the Thom-asville jail, under the charge of*- murder, the Bainbridge correspondent of the News says:uThe trial of Walter Williams in the superior court, charged with the murder of Mrs. Brocket in this county twelve years ago, is set for next week. On account of the fact that John Williams, brother of Walter, who was serving a life sentence in the penitentiary as an accomplice to this murder, was shot in the throat last week while attempting to make his escape, : and as he was relied on by Walter as a material witness, .it was feared that be might get a continuance. It was wired here to-day that John died Saturday and there|is every reason now to believe that Walter will be tried as expected.’*'l.widlt;calleCoHoplA1MallMifirmtA1portgaslanda:on pMWConStey0;ordcA
