MBS. ARNOLD FATALLY SHOTMrs. Albert Arnold, whose home was about one mile east of Springtown, was shot, according to repprt, at about 8 p. ra. Saturday by Connor Sitton, who went to the back door, and after asking Mrs. Arnold to retract some remark she had made about him, upon her refusal, shot her just above the knee with a shot gun.I)rs. Clemmer, of Springtown, Ramsey and Wilson of this place, were summoned and amputated her limb. She recovered from the operation and regained consciousness so that she talked to those about her, but died shortly afterward.Sitton disappeared, but we understand,9that the officers are busy trying to locate ] him.
