Rice Lake man dies after car overturnsRICh LAKH — A 43-year-old Rice Lake man died of massive head injuries Saturday afternoon after the car he was riding in overturned in the town of Stanley.David G. Darling, 43, was pronounced dead at Lakeview Medical Center, Rice Lake. The driver of the car, Kevin A. Knudson. 29, was listed in good conditiop today with bruises to the body, according to a hospital spokesman.Knudson’s car was northbound on 24th Street at 5:15 p.m. when Knudson was unable to make a left turn, according to a Sheriff's Department report. The car slid sideways into the ditch, rolled over and came to rest on its wheels.
