Since then be has not bgen seen nor heard from, except that he was registered Saturday at a hotel in Council Blnffa . There ie no plausible reason given for bis going away so myateronsly. It. has been rumored for some time, that he eras in financial trouble, bnt he hadtfae backing:of hi* father, who is amply able and. ready to help him over his present embarrassment. Hia borne relations were most pleasant, and it appears strange that he should desert his wife and children to whom be seemed always very much attached.Mr. Lindeman waa. in the fornitnre and undertaking business in Qriawold Me la a brother of Prot. Frank Linde-man who has for several years been at the head of the Cumberland schoolsand a nephew of Con Lindeman, who was m the newspaper and stationary business in Atlantio twenty years ago. His father, Wm. Lindeman, lives in the John Locke property in the south east part of town, coming here from Noble township tait January.
