It was a bad beginning in life for a boy. *rid it came from hanging around saloons and being in bad. cum puny. He hoped that this experience would be useful to him, and that when lie was through with his term he would endeavor to be a good man and lead a useful life. If he did not come out a better man, but eontiuued in the old vny he j might expect to spend the greater j H part of hi* life behind prison bar.-. m-fu-ure sentences would be nm.v severe. In answer to a question of District Attorney McCasiin “Bije 'said that lie was drunk at the time of the theft, and if he had nut been he would not have taken the horse. The prisoner has an innocent buvish look about him, and probably owes his present predicament to his bringing up and ^ his unfortunate surroundings. It j b would truly be passing strange if a son. of the notorious Dell Moon should grow up into - a useful and respected citizen.Deputy Sheriff Babenrath left on Tuesday nignt for W’aupnn wirb the prisoner.EEsirK* j! hVT)UariHc-a r:n
