A PITSBURG SENSATION.A Presbyterian Minister Who Had TooMany Wives.PittsI5URO, May 8.—The women of the Foreign Missionary Society of the Second Presbyterian Church met this afternoon. A lively discussion was had over the exploits of Rev. G. II. Sheldrake, who at one time occupied the pulpit of that church, and who it is alleged lived with two different women in this city while he had a wife and family in Chicago.iiy a comparison of notes it was agreed neither of these two women accompanied the Rev. Sheldrake to church. It was also brought to light that Rev. Sheldrake borrowed money at different households which amounted to a handsome sum. Rev. Frank Dewitt Talmage, who now occupies the pulpit at the Second Presbyterian church, said that Sheldrake was hired by the elders during hisabsence in Europe.
