Fled KSIREscaper CaughtAfter 3Vi MonthsDaniel F. Hill, 24, a Kansas State Industrial Reformatory escaper who remained at large after two fellow escapers were rf’imed to custody, was arrested Wednesday night at Natchez. Biss.Hill has been at large since Jan. 22, when he and Bill Hoffman, 23, and Glen Henson, 21, sawed a bar out of a window at the institution and squeezed through a nine-inch space between the bare.serving five to 10 years for burglary from Pottawatomie County. Henson is serving one to 10 from Barber County on forgerycharges.| The trio escaped in a station I wagon stolen from the Glen England home about 2% miles southeast of the reformat017. They had been assigned to a cleanup detail in the officer's mess on an upper floor.Hoffman and Henson were arrested nine days later by Temple, Tex., police at the home of Henson’s father. John W. Henson, a construction worker in Temple.t1Natchez law enforcement officers learned that Hill was an escaper through a check with the National Crime Information Center.The Reno County sheriff’s office did not know the circumstances of his arrest at noon Thursday, but believed he was first taken into custody on another incident. He was using the name “Lucky Lawson.”In February, Hoffman and Henson pleaded guilty to escape charges and were sentenced to terms of up to five years in the Kansas State Penitentiary, to begin when their current terms expire.Hill was serving one to five years from Johnson County for third degree burglary anc grand larceny.
