B. Bikle early yesterday afternoon to face a charge of assault on Earl M. White, 200 block South Prospect street, early last Saturday morning.LaLande was held under $1,000 bond for a hearing before Magistrate Martin Bostetter nest Monday,White told Detective Wayne Sellman that he became acquainted with LaLande at a tavern in the south end Friday night HeIsaid LaLande tried to gain admittance to another tavern a short time later anch was refused.Subsequently. White said, LaLande jumped on the running board of a passing automobile but was pushed or fell off.Then the two headed for the central part of the city, White said, and LaLande attempted to gain, admittance to a cocktail lounge.
