ilfOf VO(ImDNPnlueadIhO.tbdiBIKAt the recent term of court in Lincoln about 200 indictments were found. Among! V them, Gen. Dudley and Pepin [for burning McSween’s house; Doian and Campbell for the Chapman murder, in which the• Kid is the principal witneafe; about 25 persons for the murder of Me Nab; Tom O’Fol-jliarrt for stealing Frietze's hor-! scs. But two criminal cases •were tried—that of Lucas Ga-! 1 legos for murder of bis ncpji-• ew, found guilty and sentenced to one year, and a case of assault in which the accused was acquitted. No civil case wastried. In nearly all of them** •one or the other party wasdead. O’Polliard, Jack Long,Mi iriou Turner, Mathews, Buck Powell and others plead the Governor’s pardon and were discharged. Pepin, Dolan and Mathews took change of venno to Socorro and Dudley to this county. The District Attorney would not consent to the release of Kid for, * —* •*r*turning Stale’s evidence. His case c mes to this county. The greater portion of persons indicted and not yet arrested will probably come forward and plead the Governor’s pardon. Dolan and Mathews, indicted at. last term for the Tnn-stall murder, also go to Socorro. Opinion is divided as to what the result will be. Some think a fresh outbreak is iift-ntincnt, and others that the trouble is over. The two opposing factions have about exhausted themselves and futuretrouble* will probably only arise from bands passing thro’ and plundering. Evans and Campbell have not been rearrested.IdoFtcvIIIc\sVVit
