Mlkii:i: in Steubenville.—On Satur-i clay two men, named James Colston and McCalfrv, working in a rollinir* O (T9mill at Stoulienville, got into a dispute as to which was the best pud-idler, when Colston drew a knife and , cut McCalfry three times across the abdomen, inflicting fearful gashes and sundering the bowels, causing his | death in a few minutes. It seems that there has been rivalry between the men for over a year as to their respec- -tivo merits as workmen, each one claiming to be the best. Apparently they had made up all their dilllculties, and on Saturday wont out to take a drink together. Intlamod with liquor the bone of contention again arose and the dispute endiyl in the siKldcu death of MoCaffry, and in Colston being confined in the cell of the jail atSteubenville a* a murderer.
