He was h taken from the Ottumwa hospitale yesterday and placed in the hos-1 pital ward at the Wapello county jail.A summary of their confessions— was;On the night of March 25 Carlo j and Fitsimones broke into the Horne Oil station about 1 30 a. m and stole $16.25.On April 14 Carlo broke the door to the McElroy office and was unsuccessful in trying to pry openthe safe door.An April 26 Carlo and Easley entered the Swanson store by forcing the lock on the basement door. Inside they took $3 14 and before leaving threw a quantity of eggs about the place.On April 23 Carlo and Easley re-entered the Home Oil station,this time taking about 100 pennies.On April 26 all three broke intothe Crisman mill but found nothing they wanted and left.On April 27 Carlo, Easley and Fitsimones broke into the skating rink and stole $6 in cash and some candy815 From \iito Firm.An April 28 Easley and Carlo smashed a window at the Reeves company and stole $15 from the cash register.On May 3 Fitsimones broke into the barbecue shop and escaped with 121 pennies and some candyPolice Chief W.
