Cedar Ave.. was arraigned before Municipal Court Judge Earl Tankerslev for carrying a concealed, deadly weapon ^ in connection with the incident early today at St. Marv’s Hospital.Forsyth pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on $500 bond pending trial.A trial date has not been establishedyet.Hospital authorities declined to comment on the incident and police reports were pending.Meanwhile, Chaves County sheriff deputies said today that they have , arrested two men in connection with atheft of some $5,000 worth of trading stamps from a Roswell businessEdward Webb, 36, of 309 E. Hervy I St.. was charged with receiving andconcealing stolen merchandise in the amount of more than $100 and Roy Lee Sims, 32, of 310 E. Lewis St., wascharged with larceny in the amount of more than $2,500.The men are charged with the April 30 theft from Woodies Truck Stop, west of Roswell.Authorities said that the theft happened while the men were helping company workers load and transport office furniture to the company’s new offices in Albuquerque.Deputies said the men were arrested on April 3.In other police action. Gene Garcia, 1101 W Walnut St., said someone stole more than $100 from his home after beating him up while he lay in bed sometime Wednesday morning.Garcia reported the incident at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.Lecture scheduledEckankar. the path of total awareness, will present an introductory lecture at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at 1121-A S.
