.,ysNEWS /N BRIEFmmBoy/FDiesCrib FallA 2-year-old Vallejo boy was killed Monday when he apparently fell from his crib, police said.The infant, Larmanche Collier, is the son of Mrs. Viola Collier, 30, of 931-A Branciforte St.Mrs Collier said she left her home about noon and left her son in the careof a friend, Harrison Freeman, whoshares her home. She said she became alarmed when she returned home to find that the baby did not respond. Mrs. Collier said she took the child toBroadway Hospital, where he was pronounced deadFreeman told officers he returned the baby to his crib after he fell.An autopsy showed the child suffered trauma in the abdomen.Police are continuing their investigation.In addition to the mother, survivors include two brothers, Mark L., and Lamar A.; two sisters, Rochelle R. and Tinika, and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Jessie Collier, all of Vallejo.Arrangements are pending at Cooleyand RioJo Mortuary.
