THE CARRIER MILLS community high school music department 100 per cent strong, is participating in the state music contra this week end To aid in raising funds to send the students to the music contest a pre-contest concert and variety show were presented at the high school Tuesday, with the CMCHS students giving the music portion and townspeople putting on the comedy. Approximately $250 was realized from the show. A total of $512was contributed from various sources—$100 from Music Boosters chit), American Legion Post of Stonefort $75, IOOF of CarrierMills $35 and many other smaller amounts—which will be used for transportation and hotel accommodations for the 85 students.
