Mr. Keller Acquitted.Several days ago Mr. Leonard Keller, of the W. H. Keller Co., discovered in his store what he supposed to be a case of shop-lifting. The party was a certain lady living near town, and when she was interrogated and requested to replace the article supposed to have been taken, became quite angry. She indicted Mr. Keller for assault ard battery. The case was tried last Saturday before a Justice and the jury were unanimous iu acquitting Mr. Keller. This is a righteous verdict as all who have bad dealings with Mr. Keller know him to be a gentleman and a man who would not be guilty of the charges in the indictment or in the prosecuting witness’ testimony.
