Informer Claims Art Rooney Was Extortion TargetPITTSBURGH (AP) - A police informer testified that Pittsburgh Steelers owner Art Rooney was once considered as a target for an extortion plot in which he’d be kidnapped and a bomb attached to his body.Jack Siggson, 39, a co-conspirator who has been granted immunity, testified Thursday that Rooney, 80, was once considered as a target, but waisdismissed, because of his age.« «Siggson is the chief accuser, of suspended Edgewood pp-liceman Gary Small, Richard Henkel of Hempton Township and Henry Ford of Pittsburgh’s West End.
