Frank Privctt of Chippewa Falls's has been placed under arrest, * charged with the abduction of Mrs. c E. LaFonraine of Stanley. The i woman lefi her home last week and it was at first supposed that she had been killed and devoured bv some wild animal, as her clothes were found in the woods torn and besmeared with what looked like blood, but which was later found to ! j be red paint. Privett and the missing woman have been intimate for some time and it is thought he has the woman in hiding somewhere near Chippewa Falls.
