When he recovered Jtis senses, lie stated that the last lie knew of himself he was leaning' against his work bench, in conversation with Thos. Homer and llenry Haven. He was considerably bruised, and a pool of blood was found under him. He is ol‘ the opinion that the parties named above committed an assault upon Iiis person, as they held a dispute a short time previous.
