Husband Slayer Denied DamagesMERCED UPI — Merced County supervisors Wednesday rejected a $J50,0CO claim by a woman [who shot her husband to death last New Year’s Day.Mrs. Caronell Majors claimed Injuries her husband, James, suffered in a fight with a county j employe led to a mental condition which, In tumn resulted in her fight with bar husband. Mrs. .Majors was exonerated by a coroner's jury alter .testifying she shot her husband in self defense.The incident in which Majors was Injured occurred in 1553 when (Majors engaged in a brawl with a guard at the county honor farm. He sued for damages, hut the suit was dismissed as was an as suit charge against Richard Johfljirtsen, the guard.
