Escape ok a Convict from Jail. We learn from the Port Tobacco Times that on Saturday night week, negro Bill Wheeler, convicted of insurrection in Charles county, during the term of last August Court, and sentenced to bo hung, but whoso sentence, by a spo-i cial act of the Legislature, was remitted to imprisonment in the Penitentiary during his natural life, broke from the jail of the Sheriff of that county and made his escape. There has been a reward $100 offered for his apprehension and delivery to the Sheriff of the county.
