' Judge Dismissesi Charge Against| Harold BestPRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis.March 29. — (JF) — Delinquencycharges against Harold Best, whowas accused of fatally shootinghis 11-year-old sister, Mildred, were dismissed today.Harold will celebrate his sixteenth birthday anniversary tomorrow.Circuit Judge S. E. Smalley dismissed the charge on motion of Dist. Atty. James Cullen.Jury Unable to Agree.Harold's trial on the charge ended last week. The jury of three women and nine men failed to reach an agreement. \In moving dismissal, Cullen said Harold has been a dependent child for several years and under the jurisdiction of the juvenile court of LaCrosse county. Since he would be remanded to the custody of Miss Minette Strain. LaCrosse county probation officer, Cullen continued, he thought the delinquency charge should be dismissed.
