Bingham murder case.If the motion in granted, the case may be transferred to Huron, Erie, Sandusky, Wood, Wyandot or Craw- i ford counties. It has been predicted that the case will not be tried In thin county if a venue change is i granted. Friends of Bingham, however, say that the defendant would be pleased to face trial here.The case is of much Interest in Huron county. Bingham's father lives at Willard and one of his attorneys is Hay Carpenter, brother of Prosecutor Frank Carpenter of this city.George Dlmon of Norwalk will be one of the leading witnesses for the defense, it is said. Some time before iMrs. Higham was found at her home j in Attica with a knife in her breast, Mr. Dlmon sat at a table with Mrs. Higham in a hotel. During a casual conversation. Mrs. Higham is said to I have remarked to Mr. Dlmon some- | thing to the effect that she wished she was dead. It is said that Mr. ' Dlmon will lie asked to testify as to whether he saw Mrs. Higham in a t Norwalk drug store.Higham. it is stated, is basing his defense on a suicide theory. When iried the first time. Higham was convicted of manslaughter. The second time the verdict was second degree murder.
