It took a bullet through his heart to end his checkered career.This fortunate one of the unfortun:-ate victims of the shooting iron was John Nunley, of Boomer and Montgomery and well known in Hi* lower end o£ the county. From all reports it was purely accidental that Nunley was. killed. Mas*ie had a quarrel with a colored miner and Filbin took up the part of the negro.
