Kimmel Had Recently ReturnedFrom South Africa and May BeEn Route Back.It Is Charged by the People's BankWindfall, Ind., March 28—The Peo pie’s Bank of this place lias discovered that it was the victim of a cleverforgery committed by George Kim mel, a son of Alonzo Kimmel, a well-known farmer, live miles south of this place. A few days ago young Kimmel, who is 21 years old, cashed a notehis uncle, Marion Kimmel, of Howardcounty. Alter the forgery becameknown, investigation showed that other notes, amounting about $400, had been sold to the bank by Kimmel, with his father’s and Uncle Marion's namesforged thereto.Young Kimmel recently returnedfrom a trip to South Africa, and it issupposed that he is again leaving tincountry.
