MURDERED IN HIS CABINAged Chinaman Shot to Death on His Ranch in Jewett's Lane.FBI DAT, mDrHiuntiu event of 'he HcteasouAud a Carefully ChosenNathan Hale ^nlcAn aged Chinaman named Chuey Yuu Get, who la a familiar character in Bakersfield, being well-known aa a garbage man, was oruelly murdered sometime last night in his cabin on Chinese ranch just this side of the Jewett place on Jewett lane. Nothing’ was known of the tragedy until 11:30 o’clock to-day, when another China- j man visiting the house, found the ’body of the murdered man doubled up on the dirt floor of the shanty. An ! alarm was at once given and Marshal PJackard, Under Sheriff Francis Borgwardt and other officers proceeded to the scene of the tragedy Get was found lying on his face with his leg drawn under him, On examination it was shown that he had receive ed his dath wound in the throat, the bullet having ranged downward, coming out through the back.
