Thieves Steal Copper PipeBRUNSWICK — Leslie Fuller, employe of Ken Cleveland Builders, reported the theft of copper pipe and fittings from three homes under construction at Crabapple and Locus lanes.Some time last week someone entered the new homes and cut the pipe off the walls where they had been installed by a contracted plumber. Cost of repair and replacement is set at about $300.Police are also investigating a breaking and entering at a home at 1412 Roosevelt Drive, where Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Trescott are moving into.The theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Sunday and 11:45 Monday monring.Mrs. Trescott had gone to the home to do some cleaning and made the discovery. Missing are household items such as dishes, set of crystal, sheets, towels, etc., valued at about $368.
